Why Is Your Flat Roof Leaking?
Many flat roofs start leaking due to pooling or ponding water. One of the most common flat roof repairs Zoller Roofing handles is resloping. Flat roofs can develop low spots, allowing for water to sit on top of the roof instead of being expelled to the ground. Fixing these low spots requires tapering. Zoller Roofing installs insulation to build up the low spots to prevent the problem of standing water.
Single Ply Membrane
Zoller Roofing is one of the few local companies offering the Rhino Bond computer-controlled installation system. This robotic technology takes human error out of the equation – no more leaks! The Rhino Bond system eliminates membrane fastener penetration by welding the membrane directly to the specially coated plates used to secure the insulation or hardboard to the deck. The result is a roofing system that has almost no penetrations and uses fewer plates and fasteners while enhancing the wind uplift resistance. Zoller Roofing provides acrylic coatings, asphalt coatings, polyurethane coatings, and silicone coatings.
Roof coatings are designed to protect and extend the useful service life of roofs. Coatings are good for new and existing roof coverings, such as BUR, metal, modified bitumen, single ply membranes, and spray polyurethane foam. GAF Roof Coatings
Roof coatings are thicker than paint and are created to protect roofs from the damaging effects of weather and the environment, such as UV light, and excessive water and wind. They can provide protection for many years and are extremely elastic, containing a high level of top-quality resin. Once cured, these resins form an elastomeric and durable film, which provides additional waterproofing and allows the roof coating to fill in small cracks and membrane seams.
Heat Welded Modified Bitumen
Bitumen roofs have a proven track record of lasting over 20 years. They are puncture resistant, waterproof and highly rated against wind, fire and hail. Heat-welding installation provides greater permeability resistance. These "MotBit" roofs require minimal maintenance, making them one of the most popular options for flat or low-sloping roofs.
